Snowshoeing in Ontario

If you can walk, you can snowshoe

Snowshoeing is fun for people of all ages and a great way to get out and enjoy winter with your family.  You can go snowshoeing in the woods, on a trail, in open fields or in the back country. It’s a fun, easy and cheap way to spend quality time with your family and friends.

It’s not surprising that snowshoeing has been gaining in popularity in Ontario. It takes minimal equipment, it’s easy to learn for the whole family and it delivers an incredible physical workout.

There are so many trails that you can choose to visit for a family fun day of snowshoeing.  Find snowshoeing near you via the Ontario Trails Council

Also, you may want to check out this handy dandy mobile trail finder app by Ontario Trails Council.  By using the nearby function you can find any trails within 20-25km – by activity.  Download it here for FREE
