Taste of Burlington – This winter, Burlington’s finest restaurants will be presenting a three-course prix fixe dining menu with lunch being offered at $15 or $20 and dinners ranging from $30, $35 and $40. Battle of the Titans @ Royal Botanical Gardens – Dinos like you’ve never seen them before! In this battle for the ages, you will learn about ecology, the study of organisms and the environment that these majestic creatures lived through so long ago. Get ready to go back in time and see how science and nature come together in one amazing exhibit!
Moonlight Snowshoe Hike @ Crawford Lake Conservation Area – Discover the magic of winter at night, the snow illuminated by moonlight and the stars bright in the night sky. Our knowledgeable guides will lead you on a snowshoe hike through this beautiful landscape. Hikes take place every Saturday evening in January and February from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Each hike begins with basic instruction and some historical background on the sport of snowshoeing.
Season of the Snowsnake @ Crawford Lake Conservation Area – Explore the beautiful snowy landscape on a pair of snowshoes courtesy of Crawford’s rental program. Join staff for guided tours of the reconstructed Iroquoian Village at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Each tour will have a unique focus such as games, archaeology or storytelling. Warm up after the tour with a complimentary cup of nature’s tea. Children can create a craft or enjoy a discovery hunt from 10am to 4pm.
Family Fun Day – There’s lots of fun to be had at “Denbigh Family Fun Day”. Festivities include outdoor games, tea boiling for everyone, races on the hill with sleds, bed races (5 on a team), maple syurp on the snow, open skating, crafts inside. Free lunch for all children that are registered. The canteen is open.
Winter Carnival – This is a great event with lots of events for all ages! Enjoy a pancake breakfast, skating, face painting, numerous demonstrations, Horse drawn wagon rides, entertainers, carnival games and more!

Dog Sled Derby @ Pinestone Resort – If you have never watched a dogsled race before, it is definitely a sight to behold and hear! With the dogs lunging, howling and barking to get the races started, flying out of the start gate at speeds reaching 30km/hr and racing for the richest purse in Ontario, there is lots of action going on.
Winter Carnival – The Kapuskasing Winter Carnival consists of events and activities including kids activities, skating activities, evening dances, breakfasts & suppers, kid’s carnival and fireworks. Get out and enjoy some fun activities with friends and family

Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show – While you are at the show you can see boats from small to large, every type of tackle and pole as well as just about any product associated with you outdoor leisure time.

Days of Wine & Chocolate – Warm up your winter with this match made in heaven! Explore pairings of two of your favourite indulgences – wine and chocolate, as you tour the Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
1st Annual Kids FurBall – Let your mini super-heroes have a night of fun, including dancing, movies and lots more, all while learning about the simple things they can do to help save Ottawa’s animals. Kids will have the chance to make their own pizzas and sundaes, and after dessert we will be holding a dance, dress up optional, for your child to show off their fancy foot work! Don’t forget to pack a sleeping bag and pillow for your kids, there will be a designated sleep area after 10:30 pm. Pre registration required
