The weekend is fast approaching so it’s time to plan your family activities.  Seems to be a quiet weekend on the activity front but there are still quite a few fun things to get out and do.  Check out our Weekend Fun Guide below.

Cineplex Theatres has extended their Saturday Family Favourites until the end of June.  For only $2.50 per person you can enjoy a great classic family flick for every Saturday at 11:00am.  Check out what’s playing here

Maple Syrup Festival –  Where else but Belmore can you get better made-from-scratch pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, applesauce and coffee? April 11th and 13th is the 46th Annual Belmore Maple Syrup Festival with plenty of hot pancakes and maple syrup, not to mention singing, dancing and just plain fun for the whole family!

Home & Garden Show – Spring is just around the corner, and it´s the perfect time to start imagining what your home and garden could be like this summer! Metroland Durham Region Media Group is hosting the Annual Clarington Home and Garden Show April 13th and 14th at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex. This year, the Home and Garden Show has grown again. Almost 100 vendors are participating in this year´s event showcasing their products and services, including landscaping, windows and doors, sunrooms, financial services, contractors, decorators decks, garage doors and a whole lot more! The complex will be buzzing a wide array of vendors, keynote speakers and seminars over the weekend.

Annual Maple Festival (February 28th-April 14th) @ Proulx Maple & Berry Farm – Weekend activities include: Watching the sap being collected, visit the syrup shack, enjoy a pancake meal, taste the real 100% pure taffy on snow, Horse drawn hay rides through the maple bush, visit the petting farm, and have fun playing in the play parks.

Holstein MapleFest (April 13-14th) @ Love’s Sugarbush – Bring the whole family for a day in our 40 acre sugarbush. Weʼll be serving our tummy filling Pancake and Sausage breakfast all day long. Enjoy our free craft sale with over 30 original vendors.
