Weekend Fun Guide (April 19-21 2013)

Monday is Earth Day so many towns across Ontario are sponsoring local clean up activities over the weekend.  Check your local newspaper or town’s website to see what you can do right in your town to clean up!

Teaching your kids to live eco-friendly on a day to day basis can be done by simply recycling your garbage at home, picking up trash at the park, making litter-less lunches for school or thinking of ways to conserve water and energy.

If you’re stuck for some ideas, check out Earth Day Canada for some great ways to go green.  Eco-Kids also has a great site to find games, activities  books and other ways to help our planet.

Grab a movie with the family this Saturday at 11:00am for only $2.50 per person thanks to Cineplex’s Family Favourites.  Check out what’s playing here
