Doors Open – Doors Open Guelph is a collaborative initiative led by the Guelph Arts Council with support from Heritage Guelph and the City of Guelph Tourism Services to celebrate and increase awareness of the city’s rich architectural and historical heritage.
Walk for Wildlife @ Marguerite Ornston Parking Lot – (Saturday at 10:00am) – A Leisurely 4 km hike! The GVTA is partnering with the Canadian Wildlife Federation to encourage Canadians to head outdoors and take part in the Walk for Wildlife. Participants can log/add their kilometres to the Waterloo Walks national tally. The goal is to have 15,000 km walked between April 7th and May 22nd. This is a great opportunity for our club to showcase our trail and club.
Earth Day Celebrations @ Minden Cultural Centre – Come to the Minden Hills Cultural Centre and help us celebrate Earth Day. There will be a community clean-up, children and family activities and we will be showing the movie THE LORAX. There will also be white pine saplings for you to take home and plant.

Powassan Maple Syrup Festival (April 27th)– As in years previous, we will be starting the day with our Pancake Breakfasts at 7am. Most festival activities and entertainment generally come to end an around 4 pm. It will be a full day of food, live music, crafts, and fun family events.
